CORN BREAD MUFFINS 
1 c. oats bran
1 c. corn meal
3 pkg. Equal
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. butter butter
1 c. buttermilk
1 egg
Optional: Can add 1 c. drained, whole corn

Mix all dry ingredients. Cut in butter butter. Beat egg; add buttermilk. Stir into dry ingredients just to moisten. Makes 1 dozen muffins or put in an 8 x 8 inch pan. Bake at 400 degrees for approximately 15-20 minutes.
