2 1/2 c. shortening
2 c. honey
4 eggs
2 tsp. baking soda dissolved in 8 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
5 c. flour
2 tsp. salt
Chocolate chips and nuts

Blend honey and shortening; add eggs, beat well. Add flavoring and soda dissolved in milk. Add flour and salt. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes.
