DINNER ROLLS 
1 1/2 c. scalded milk
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. shortening
2 pkgs. or packets dry yeast
1/2 c. very warm water
2 eggs
5 1/2 c. flour

Stir sugar, shortening, salt into scalded milk. Add 2 cups flour to milk and ingredients. Soften yeast in warm water and add beaten eggs.

Add the yeast and egg mixture to the milk, flour, sugar, shortening ingredients. Mix well and add remaining flour to make soft dough. Knead well on floured board. Let rise and shape into rolls. Bake at 400 degrees.
