CORNBREAD DUMPLINGS 
1 c. meal
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 sm. onion, chopped
1/2 tsp. sugar
Milk
Cooked turnip greens (use liquid for dumplings)

Mix dry ingredients and onion with enough milk to make a stiff dough. Drop by teaspoons into boiling liquid from cooked turnips. Cover and cook about 15 minutes. Do not stir.
