SAUERKRAUT CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 tsp. pepper
1 (1 lb.) can sauerkraut, drained
2 c. uncooked egg noodles
1 can celery soup
1 can mushroom soup
1 c. (8 oz.) Cheddar cheese

Brown beef and onion. Drain fat. Layer half of beef/onion mixture into a baking dish. Cover with sauerkraut. Top with remaining meat mixture. Put uncooked noodles on top. Spread soup over noodles. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Sprinkle cheese on top and bake for 30 minutes more.
