GINNY'S CRANBERRY DESSERT | |
3 c. flour 3 tsp. baking powder Dash of salt 1 1/2 c. white sugar 4 1/2 tbsp. butter 1 1/2 c. milk 3 c. cranberries, cut in half, washed, and drain well Sift dry ingredients. Cut in butter (softened but not runny). Add milk and cranberries. Stir well. Put in greased cake pan and bake at 350 degrees or longer to get it golden brown. SAUCE: 3/4 c. sugar 3/4 c. brown sugar 3/4 c. butter 1 1/2 c. whipping cream Cook in double boiler until thickened, 20 to 30 minutes. Serve warmed over cake. Very good! |
