FUDGE CAKE 
3 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. butter (softened)
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
6 oz. unsweetened chocolate (melted)
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. buttermilk

FROSTING:

3/4 c. butter, softened
5 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted
3 tsp. vanilla
5 tbsp. milk
6 c. powdered sugar

Set aside. Sift flour with baking soda and salt. Cream butter with sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs, melted chocolate and vanilla, beat well. Mix in buttermilk and flour mixture, alternating until mixture is light and fluffy.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.

Mix cream, butter with melted chocolate and vanilla. Add milk and powdered sugar alternately, beating until frosting is creamy.
