SHANGHAI CASSEROLE 
2 lbs. ground beef
1 c. finely chopped onion
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
1 can mushroom soup
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. soy sauce
2 c. chopped celery
1 (3 oz.) can Chinese noodles

Brown ground beef with onion in skillet stirring until crumbly; drain. Cook mixed vegetables according to package directions for 5 minutes, drain. Add vegetables, 1/2 cup water and remaining ingredients, except noodles to ground beef mixture, mixing well. Spoon into 2 1/2 quart casserole and bake covered, at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Sprinkle with noodles, bake uncovered for 5 minutes longer. Yields 6 to 8 servings.
