GRANDMA OLGA'S PEANUT COOKIES 
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup shortening
2 beaten eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp cream of tartar
1 cup crushed corn flakes
2 cups oatmeal
1-1/2 cups salted peanuts

Cream together brown sugar, shortening, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy.

Stir flour, soda and cream of tartar together and add to above; mix well.

Blend in the corn flakes, oatmeal and peanuts.

Drop by spoonful onto greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 325°FF oven until light golden brown (about 12 minutes).
