COCKTAIL SWEET AND SOUR
MEATBALLS
 
1/2 lb. ground beef
2 sm. onions, minced
1 lg. green pepper, minced
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. red cooking wine
1 c. sweet and sour BBQ sauce
1 tsp. soy sauce

Mix all ingredients, shape in 1/2 inch balls. Fry in lightly greased skillet until browned, shaking pan often. Makes about 3 dozen.

MEAT SAUCE:

1 tbsp. red wine
1 c. sweet, sour BBQ sauce
1 c. honey
Dash of garlic salt

In large saucepan, simmer all ingredients. Add meatballs, simmer for 20 minutes, covered - stirring occasionally.
