DROP SAND TARTS 
1 c. butter
2 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla or almond extract

Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Then add flour and baking powder. Add extract. Mix well and drop small amount onto greased cookie sheet. Dip fork into one whole beaten egg and press cookie flat. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
