DROP SAND TART COOKIES 
1 c. butter, melted
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour, sifted
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Mix together butter and sugar; add eggs, flour and baking soda. Refrigerate overnight or put in freezer for 10 minutes. Drop balls of 1/2 teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheets. Top with cinnamon. Garnish with walnut or pecan halves. Bake 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown at 350 degrees.
