1/3 c. soft butter
1/2 c. shortening
2 egg yolks or 1 whole egg
2 tsp. vanilla
1 box Betty Crocker cake mix (any flavor)

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix butter, shortening and egg. Add vanilla. Thoroughly blend in cake mix 1/3 at a time. Place dough in cookie press. Decorate or sprinkle with colored sugar. Bake 8-10 minutes. Cool slightly before removing from pan.
