OVEN BARBEQUED SPARERIBS 
4 lbs. spareribs, cracked
1 onion, quartered
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Simmer ribs, onion, salt and pepper in water to cover them for 1 1/2 hours or until tender. Drain. Meanwhile, combine all ingredients for barbeque sauce. Simmer one hour, stirring occasionally. 1/2 c. light brown sugar, packed 1/2 c. catsup 1/4 c. chili sauce 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp. chopped onion 1 tbsp. lime juice 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 1/2 tsp. garlic powder

Brush ribs with sauce. Broil 5 inches from heat, 10 minutes on each side or until of desired brownness.
