OVEN BARBECUED SPARERIBS 
5 lbs. spareribs
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1/4 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 c. catsup
2 c. boiling water
1/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
2 tsp. powdered or prepared mustard

Combine ingredients and pour over spareribs. Sprinkle on onions. Bake in hot oven (450 degrees) for 45 minutes. Then turn to 350 degrees for 45 minutes longer. Serves 6-8.
