EASY MULLIGAN STEW 
1 1/2 lb. beef (1 inch squares)
3 tbsp. shortening
2 beef bouillon cubes
Salt, pepper and garlic salt (to taste)
1 can of beans and corn, drained (reserve juices)
1 pkg. frozen peas
2 lb. cans tomatoes, drained and sliced
4 carrots, sliced
3 med. onions, whole
1 med. cabbage, quartered
4 potatoes, quartered

Brown beef in hot shortening. Transfer to a large pot. Add reserved juices, bouillon cubes, salt, pepper, garlic salt and enough water to fill 1/2 the pot. Simmer, covered, for 1/2 hour. Add all vegetables, cook for 1 hour longer.
