“BROCCOLI SALAD” IS IN:

BROCCOLI SALAD

1 cup celery
3 cups raw broccoli, chopped
4 hard boiled eggs, chopped
8 slices of bacon fried and crumbled
1/2 cup raisins

Dressing:

1 cup mayonnaise (not salad dressing)
1/4 cup sugar
2 tsp. vinegar

Combine all the salad ingredients in a mixing bowl. Then make the dressing pour over the salad mixture and stir.

Note: Best if you let set 1 hour after putting on the salad.

My favorite broccoli salad. I didn't care for the celery in it so I omitted it. Put 4 cups of broccoli instead of 3 cups. I add sunflower seeds too. It is so good I always get raves on it when taking to potlucks.

The recipe called for eggs which I didn't use. I did chop up an onion (med) and added that also. I had forgotten to share that at the time of writing my comment. Sorry about that. My family enjoys this dish very much. Thank you Laurie
