HAMBURGER CABBAGE CASSEROLE 
1 lb. hamburger
1 tbsp. onion
4 eggs
1 c. milk
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 lbs. cabbage

Brown the hamburger and cook until separated, add onion and cook few minutes longer. Remove from heat. Beat eggs, add milk gradually and continue beating. Add the sugar and stir into hamburger. Add salt and pepper. Mix well. Slice cabbage very fine. Cover with water and cook for 7 minutes; drain. Place cabbage in a deep greased casserole. Pour hamburger mixture over cabbage. Sprinkle the top with bread crumbs. Bake 350 degree oven for 50 minutes. Bread crumbs should be golden brown, if not, place under broiler a few minutes.
