3 c. Butter Flavor Crisco
2 c. brown sugar
1 c. honey
3 eggs
3 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
3 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
6 c. uncooked oatmeal
Nuts, as desired
Chocolate bits

Mix first 5 ingredients in a large bowl with electric mixer. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Add additional 1/2 cup oatmeal if dough seems too moist. Drop by rounded tablespoon on slightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 9 or 10 minutes. Makes a BIG batch of cookies!
