GREEN BEANS WITH CHEESE 
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. seasoned bread crumbs
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. onion, minced
1 tsp. sugar
1 c. sour cream
4 c. French cut green beans, cooked & drained
2 c Swiss cheese, grated

Melt 2 tablespoons butter, add bread crumbs; set aside.

Melt 2 tablespoons of butter n large saucepan over low heat. Stir in flour, salt, pepper, onion and sugar. Add sour cream. Stir until smooth. Increase heat to medium and cook until sauce is bubbly and thickened, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Fold in green beans into sour cream sauce, spread in greased 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Sprinkle cheese evenly over green beans mixture. Sprinkle crumb mixture evenly over cheese. Bake 20 minutes or until thoroughly heated in 400 degree oven. Other vegetables can be substituted for green beans.
