HAMBURGER "21" | |
1 c. finely diced celery 6 tbsp. (3/4 stick) butter 2 lb. ground round beef 2 eggs, beaten 2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/2 c. water 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1. Saute celery in 2 tablespoons of the butter until soft in a small skillet. 2. Combine ground beef, celery mixture, eggs, salt, pepper, water and Worcestershire sauce in a large bowl. Mix lightly until well blended. Shape into 4 large patties about 1 inch thick. 3. Saute in remaining butter in a large frying pan 5 minutes on each side for medium or until done as you like beef. 4. Serve with fresh green beans. |
