ORIENTAL SHRIMP WITH SNOW PEAS
OVER RICE
 
1 lb. shelled, deveined shrimp
5 tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 to 1 tsp. cornstarch
1-2 minced garlic cloves
Minced gingerroot or 1/4 tsp. ground ginger

Marinate shrimp in rest of ingredients. Marinate for 1/2 hour. Add 4 servings of snow peas. Stir fry quickly in 4 tablespoons hot oil for several minutes. Serve over boiled rice. (For extra flavor, cook rice in canned or homemade chicken broth.) Makes 4 servings.

Rice-A-Roni in chicken broth is a good substitute for plain rice.
