SEAFOAM SALAD 
1 lb., 14 oz. can pear halves
1 c. pear syrup
1 (3 oz.) box lime flavored gelatin
6 oz. cream cheese
2 tbsp. milk
1/2 c. heavy cream, whipped or Cool Whip
Salad greens
Strawberries (optional)

Drain pears, reserving 1 cup of the syrup. Mash pears with fork. Heat syrup, pour over gelatin and stir until gelatin is dissolved. Beat cheese with milk until smooth and blended. Gradually beat in hot gelatin. Chill until slightly thickened. Fold in pears and whipped cream. Chill in 1 1/2 quart mold or glass 13 x 9 inch pan until firm. Serve on salad greens. Garnish with strawberries. Makes 8 servings.
