TOO TOO GOOD COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla
1 (12 oz.) bag chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts
2 c. oatmeal

Cream butter, shortening, sugars, eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour, oatmeal, soda, salt, chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
