1/2 lb. butter
3 c. sugar
6 lg. eggs
3 c. flour
1/2 pt. heavy cream
2 tsp. extract of your choice
A sprinkle of nutmeg

Grease and flour loaf pans. Mix ingredients and pour into floured pans and place in cold oven. Turn temperature to 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
