FRIED APPLES 
1/4 c. butter
6 c. sliced, unpeeled Jonathan (or tart) apples
2 tbsp. granulated sugar
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Melt butter in skillet. Add rest of ingredients and cook over medium heat; uncover for 10 minutes. Stir, cook until desired softness. Good served with pork chops or ham.
