CHEESE GRITS | |
4 1/2 c. boiling water 1 tsp. salt 1 c. corn flakes 1 roll Kraft garlic cheese 2 eggs 1 c. quick grits 1 stick butter Boil the water and add the salt and quick grits. Reduce the heat to medium low and cook 5-7 minutes. Cut up the butter and garlic cheese into pieces and add them to the grit mixture. Stir until cheese and butter melts. Cool. Beat the eggs in a measuring cup, then fill the measuring cup with the water to make 1 cup. Pour the egg and water into the grits mixture and stir. Pour the completed mixture into a 9x13-inch casserole dish. Cover lightly with the corn flakes. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes. |
