CHOW MEIN 
1 lb. chow mein meat
1 c. diced onion
2 tsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. salt
2 c. chicken stock or broth
2 c. cut up celery
1 can bean sprouts
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
1 can water chestnuts, drain, sliced

Fry meat and onion. Add broth, soy sauce, salt and celery. Cook until celery is tender. Add bean sprouts, water chestnuts and mushrooms. Thicken with 3 tablespoons cornstarch mixed with enough water to moisten. Serve with rice. Serve over chow mein noodles.
