RAISIN PIE 
2 c. seedless raisins
2 c. water
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. vinegar

Boil raisins in 1 3/4 c. water for 5 minutes. Combine brown sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and salt. Moisten with remaining 1/4 c. cold water and add to raisins, stirring until mixture boils. Remove from fire and add butter and vinegar. Pour mixture into a 9 inch pastry crust. Cover top with pastry.

Bake at 425°F for 25 minutes.
