CHICKEN HOT DISH 
1 (7 oz.) pkg. herb seasoned stuffing
1 egg, beaten
1/3 c. melted shortening or oil
1 c. chicken broth

Mix together and press into a baking dish for crust.

FILLING:

2 tbsp. of oil
2 tbsp. flour
2 c. chicken broth
1/4 c. chopped onion
3 c. cubed cooked chicken
1 tsp. parsley flakes
1 (10 oz.) pkg. of frozen peas or mixed vegetables
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. thyme
4 slices American cheese

Mix oil, flour, onion, and stir in all ingredients except cheese. Pour into the crust. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes. Put cheese on top and bake 5 minutes more.
