GERMAN SLAW 
1 cabbage (3 to 4 lbs.) shredded
1 to 2 med. onions, chopped
1 to 2 med. green pepper pods, chopped
1 tbsp. salt
1 c. vinegar
3/4 c. salad oil
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. celery seeds
1 c. sugar

Boil together salt, sugar, vinegar, salad oil, mustard, and celery seeds for 3 minutes. Pour over cabbage, onions and pepper. Keep refrigerated.
