AUNT JULIA'S EGG NOG 
12 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar (I use less)
2 pt. heavy cream
2 qt. milk
2 c. whiskey (I use less)
1 c. rum (I use less)

Separate yolks from whites. Place whites in a large bowl. Beat until foamy, gradually beat in sugar until a satiny meringue is formed.

Beat yolks until thick. Fold into whites.

Gradually add cream and milk. Whip.

Gradually add whiskey and rum.
