QUICK BREAKFAST CASSEROLE 
4 slices bread
1 lb. bulk or link sausage
1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
1 tsp. salt and pepper
6 eggs
2 c. milk
1 tsp. dry mustard (optional)

Tear up bread slices and place pieces in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Brown sausage and drain off fat. Spoon sausage over bread. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Beat together the eggs, milk, mustard and salt and pepper and pour over mixture.

Bake in preheated oven at 350°F for 35 to 40 minutes. (The cheese will rise to the top during baking.)

Makes 6 to 8 servings.

This can be prepared the night before, covered and refrigerated, then baked the next morning. Suitable for freezing.
