QUICK AND EASY BREAKFAST
CASSEROLE
 
5 slices of bread
1 lb. bulk sausage
1 c. grated cheese
6 eggs
2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Break 5 slices of bread and place into a greased baking dish (13 x 9 1/2 inches). Brown and drain sausage. Spoon over bread and sprinkle with grated cheese. Beat together eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Pour over mixture in baking dish. Bake for 45 minutes. Do not pour the liquid mixture over the bread until you are ready to bake.

NOTE: You may prepare this recipe the night before. Just cover and refrigerate and bake in the morning. Serves 6 to 8.

This is in our rotation now. We really like it. I did omit the salt the second time I made it because it was too salty the first time. Very easy too.
