CAKE BATTER:

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 c. milk
3 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt

CINNAMON MIXTURE:

1 c. brown sugar
4 tbsp. flour
4 tsp. cinnamon
4 tbsp. butter, melted
1 c. nuts, chopped

Thoroughly mix together sugar, butter and eggs. Stir in milk and sift together flour, baking powder and salt; stir into mixture, blending well. Spread half batter into greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Sprinkle with half of cinnamon mixture. Add remaining batter and top with remaining cinnamon mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
