BEEF STROGANOFF 
1/4 c. butter
3 lg. onions, thinly sliced
1 tbsp. mustard
1 tsp. salt
Grind of fresh pepper
2 lb. top round steak, cut into thin strips
2 (4 oz. each) cans mushroom stems and pieces, drained
1 c. dairy sour cream
Hot buttered noodles or rice

1. Combine butter, onions, mustard, salt, and pepper in a 3 quart glass casserole. Cover and cook on saute for 5 minutes, or until onions are limp.

2. Add beef, cover and cook on high for 10 minutes; stir once during cooking time.

3. Add mushrooms. Cover and cook on simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until meat is tender. Stir once or twice during cooking time.

4. Add sour cream. Cover and cook on defrost for 5 minutes or just until sauce is heated. Let stand 5 minutes.

5. Serve with noodles or rice.
