FAILURE PROOF CUSTARD 
4 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. water
1 2/3 c. (lg. can) undiluted Carnation evaporated milk

Beat ingredients to mix well. Pour into unbaked pie shell (or custard cups). Sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) for 35-45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
