STRAWBERRY ANGEL FOOD DESSERT 
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry flavored gelatin dessert
1 (10 oz.) pkg. sliced frozen strawberries
1 tbsp. sugar
Pinch of salt
1/2 of 10 inch angel food cake, torn in pieces
1/2 pt. whipping cream, Dream Whip or Cool Whip

Dissolve gelatin in 1/4 cup boiling water. Stir in thawed strawberries, sugar, salt. Cool until it begins to thicken. Fold in cream, whipped. Cover bottom of 9 inch pan with half the torn angel food cake. Pour over half of cream mixture.

Make another layer with the rest of the torn cake. Pour remaining strawberry cream mixture over. Refrigerate 4 to 5 hours to set. Cut into tempting squares. The garnishing is optional, but nice is a dab of cream with a strawberry on top.
