SPAGHETTI SAUCE 
1/2 c. olive oil
1 pressed clove garlic
1 lb. ground round steak
1/4 lb. ground lean pork
2 c. of Italian tomatoes
1/2 c. Italian tomato paste
1/2 c. of beef or veal stock
1 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. pepper
1 bay leaf (from Naples!)

Cook 1 hour, then add

1/2 c. mushrooms
1 to 2 tsp. of basil or oregano

Serve over spaghetti with grated Romano cheese and Parmesan cheese.
