CORN ON THE COB 
2/3 c. unsalted butter, softened
1 1/2 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp. dried leaf oregano, crumbled
1/2 tsp. Tabasco pepper sauce
8 ears fresh or frozen corn on the cob

In a small bowl stir together Parmesan cheese, oregano and Tabasco sauce until combined. Cook fresh corn, covered, in boiling water to cover 5 to 7 minutes (or prepare frozen corn according to package directions); drain and spread with butter mixture. Yield: 8 servings; 26 mg. sodium per serving.
