PEACH COBBLER 
2 cans peach slices
1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/3 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3 tbsp. cider vinegar
1 c. peach syrup
1 tbsp. butter
Few grains salt

Put peaches (drained) in shallow dish. Combine sugar, spice, cornstarch, salt, in saucepan, stir well. Add vinegar, syrup and butter. Bring to a boil, stir and simmer until thick, about 5 minutes. Pour over peaches.

TOPPING:

1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. light cream
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. grated orange peel
