FUSSY AUNT MARY CAYE'S CHILI | |
1 1/2 lb. meat (1 lb. ground turkey & 1/2 lb. ground beef, or 1/2 lb. red meat, cut into sm. pieces) 1 onion, chopped 3 tsp. chili powder 1 green pepper, chopped 1 c. water 1 can tomato, whole, peeled or diced 1 can stewed tomatoes Dash Worcestershire sauce 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 can chili beans, mashed Brown meat. Add chili powder, water and onion; bring to a boil. Mash beans and add with all other items. Bring to boil again, turn down heat and simmer, uncovered, for approximately 1 hour, stirring every now and then - - don't let bottom burn. |
