CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE 
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tsp. cocoa
1 c. milk
1 tbsp. vanilla

Cream butter, shortening and sugar together. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add sifted dry ingredients with milk. Add vanilla. Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes.

FROSTING:

1/2 stick butter
1/2 box sifted powdered sugar
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. hot coffee

Cream butter, powdered sugar, cocoa, vanilla and hot coffee. Mix well.
