CHOCOLATE WALNUT POUND CAKE 
1 stick butter
3/4 c. butter Crisco
3 c. sugar
5 lg. eggs
3 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. cocoa
1 c. milk
1 tbsp. vanilla

Sift together flour, salt, baking powder and cocoa. Have butter and eggs at room temperature. Place butter, Crisco and sugar in mixing bowl and beat until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating until fluffy.

Add flour alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour. Fold in walnuts. Place in a greased and floured 10 inch tube cake pan. Bake 325 degrees for one hour and 30 minutes. Remove onto wire rack to cool.
