LASAGNA CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 c. onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (#2 1/2) can tomatoes
1 (12 oz.) tomato paste
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 sm. can ripe pitted olives
8 oz. pkg. lasagna
1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Brown beef, onions and garlic, drain. Add tomatoes, paste and seasonings. Cover and simmer slowly for 1 hour. Remove form heat and add sliced olives. Cook and drain lasagna noodles. Spread 1/4 meat sauce over bottom of shallow baking pan (13 x 9 inch). Cover with lasagna, arranging strips lengthwise. Top with layer of Mozzarella, then Parmesan cheese. Repeat layers ending with meat sauce and Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 degrees until cheese is bubbly, about 30 to 40 minutes.
