1 stick butter
1 stick butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. unsifted flour
1 1/2 c. oatmeal

Cream butter, butter and sugar; add flour and oatmeal. Drop on ungreased cookie sheet with a teaspoon. Flatten with a small glass that has been dipped in sugar. Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Carefully remove from cookie sheet with spatula and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

I say carefully--while they are still hot they will break easily.
