PUMPKIN DESSERT 
CRUST:

1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 c. nuts (pecans)

Put in 10x13 inch pan and bake 15 minutes at 400 degrees.

FILLING:

2 sm. pkg. instant vanilla pudding
1 1/2 c. milk
2 c. pumpkin
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt

May substitute 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice for nutmeg and cinnamon.

Mix pudding and milk together. While this sets, mix pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, and salt. Fold together with package of Cool Whip and pudding mixture. Place on crust. Frost with Cool Whip.
