COCONUTTY OAT BARS 
3/4 c. soft butter
2/3 c. packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. oats, uncooked
1 (3 1/2 oz.) can flaked coconut
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 c. chopped dates

Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Blend in egg and vanilla. Add combined flour, baking powder and salt; mix well. Stir in remaining ingredients. Spread into well greased 15 x 10 inch jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool.
