YORKSHIRE PUDDING | |
8 oz. plain flour 2 eggs 1/2 pt. milk or half milk, half water Preheat oven 450 degrees. Sieve flour and salt in a small bowl, add eggs and slowly beat in milk and water until it gives consistency of thin cream, let stand. In a square pan, heat some Crisco until hot, remove from oven. Pour mixture into hot oil, cook in oven 1 hour. It will rise and be golden brown. Serve with roast beef. |
