HOLIDAY CIDER 
3 qts. apple cider or juice
2/3 c. dark brown sugar
1 tsp. whole allspice
1 tsp. whole cloves
4 cinnamon sticks
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3 apples, skinned and sliced
2 c. unflavored brandy

Heat 2 cups of cider or juice with brown sugar, stirring until dissolved in large pot. Pour remaining liquid in and heat. Add spices. Cover and cook very low for 2-3 hours. Add sliced apples last half hour. Add brandy 15 minutes before serving. Not only very tasty but makes your house smell great.
